How to encrypt and upload your AIRES file?

Prepare your files by downloading them from your core processor and ensuring that the files contain the mandatory fields. You can find our comprehensive guide on formatting HERE:

Navigate to CUCollaborate.com and click “sign in”
On the left you will see “My CU Data” click there and then click “Data Management"
Click “Upload Data”
You will then see a menu appear, please click where annotated below to download the “Data Preparer” (This will prompt the download of the “Data Preparer” which takes your AIRES files and protects/encrypts any PPI)
Once downloaded, please open the application
The first page shares instructions, you can read through and then click on “Key Generator”
Once you generate a key, you can now click “Encrypt” on the left-hand side
Navigate to your file or drag your file upload both your loan and share files
Once both are loaded, click “Encrypt File” which is highlighted in blue
Progress bars will appear and upon successful completion, it will highlight in green
If it turns red, there is an error or issue with your file
Please review the error and fix the file accordingly and re-upload the file
Once successfully encrypted, look at the location of your files and locate them in preparation for the next steps

Only move on if you have successfully encrypted your files and they are now in .acmd format

Navigate back to the page on the CUCollaborate dashboard and upload your encrypted files (loan/share file)
Once uploaded, you will see your uploads appear and process – this can take 24-28 hours
