AnalyzeCU - LID Dashboard Member Counts
Low Income Designation Dashboard - Member Counts
The number of unique members counted in the LID Dashboard needs to be within 10% of the total members submitted with the last Call Report. Ultimately, the methodology you use to identify and count unique members for the Call Report needs to be the same method you use to identify and count unique members for the AIRES+ file.
If your member count number in the LID Dashboard is larger than your latest Call Report, that could be due to:
Your Credit Union includes joint members as unique IDs in your AIRES files but for the Call Report, your credit union might be counting joint accounts as one member, unless your bylaws state otherwise. (For example: a member could have an account at a credit union, then add their spouse, giving both individuals access to the account. However, the spouse might not technically meet the definition of a "member" if they don't specifically deposit shares.)
Your AIRES+ file might include charged-off or inactive accounts, which may not have been counted in the Call Report.
If your member count number in the LID dashboard is smaller than your latest Call Report, that could be due to:
Your Call Report member count might include joint account holders as multiple members but include only the primary account holders in the AIRES+ file.
Your Call Report might include charged-off or inactive accounts, but the AIRES+ file might not.
