Where do I find my AIRES files?
You should be able to get this information from your data processor (if applicable), or do a simple export from your system of a file that contains the required information (street address, city, state, Unique Member Identifier, etc.). This is what you usually send to the NCUA when provide your AIRES files for Credit Union examinations.
What format do my AIRES files need to be in?
To submit your AIRES files to Data preparer it can be saved in several formats: xls, xlsx, csv, txt, tab-delimited (w/o extension).
What information needs to be included in the AIRES files?
To get a valid analysis you need to include data for all fields that are Critical in the tables above. Even if you do not provide data from non-critical fields, your data should still include empty columns for data you do not provide, i.e., field 20 should still be in the twentieth column, even if you do not provide data for some earlier columns. The simplest solution is to provide your complete AIRES files (with account number and SSN encrypted)
How often should AIRES files be uploaded to AnalyzeCU?
It is best practice to provide AIRES files on a monthly basis or at least one file for each quarter to allow a more accurate analysis by AnalyzeCU.

How can I be sure that Personal Identifiable Information is safe and secure with AnalyzeCU?
Before uploading your data into AnalyzeCU you are required to encrypt your AIRES files by Data Preparer – it is a desktop tool which main goal is to remove and encrypt Personal Identifiable Information (PII) from AIRES files.
How do I get access to Data Preparer?
If you are registered user of AnalayzeCU you can download Data Preparer from “Data Management” page, otherwise you can request a direct link from your personal Account Manager.
Can I upload my data into AnalyzeCU without encryption process?
In order to protect your Personal Identifiable Information and make sure that your data is safe AnalyzeCU accepts only encrypted files by Data Preparer, files that were not encrypted will be rejected by the system.
Can I generate more than one encryption key?
It is required to use the same and only one encryption key within your organization. Make sure that you back up your encryption key. It is important to use the same encryption key so that your encrypted data is consistent over time and you can decrypt exported analysis from AnalyzeCU to get back to your original data.
What should I do if I lost encryption key?
It is very important to use the same key for encrypting all AIRES files for your organization. If it happens that your key is lost, you can generate a new one and encrypt your files again and upload into AnalyzeCU and request to delete old encrypted AIRES files.
Can I upload encrypted AIRES files if I got validation warnings in Data Preparer?
AIRES files that received validation warnings from encryption process can be uploaded into AnalyzeCU but it can impact analysis accuracy.
Can Data Preparer encrypt AIRES files that are related to the period before 2003 year?
Beginning June 30, 2003, NCUA expanded AIRES loan and share record layout specifications with the new fields. Data Preparer support encryption of AIRES files with old and new layouts.
FAQ UPLOAD DATA
What do I do if I have multiple Loan and Share files that I get from different core systems?
At the moment, you will need to merge all Loan files manually and provide one general Loan file and the same for Share files. Currently, AnalyzeCU can process one Loan and one Share file that refer to the same period.
What is the Document Date?
Document Date is the date that the data within a file refers to, e.g., if an AIRES file lists loan (or share) accounts as of December 31, 2021, its document date would be 12/31/2021.
Can I upload corrected encrypted AIRES files for the same Document Date?
You can upload only one time for the same “Document Date”. If you want to upload updated files that refer to the same period, please select “Document Date” that is the more recent than the previous date.
Why do I need to provide Product Mapping?
Providing Loan, Share and PFC Mapping data will benefit you with accurate data analytics across AnalyzeCU, particularly it is used for Member Benefit calculation.
How can I provide Product Mapping data?
There are two options: (1) Upload file (we support the same Mapping Data file that you provide to DEXA) or (2) complete mapping manually directly on AnalyzeCU dashboard, where all unique type codes from your AIRES files are collected.
