The Role of Date of Birth within the CUCollaborate Software
The standard AIRES Share file does not contain a date of birth value. However, this information is crucial for key demographic elements and our Low-Income Designation software. To address this, we have introduced the term AIRES+, referring to the Share file which includes a 21st column specifically for the date of birth.
In this article, I will outline the benefits that credit unions can gain by providing date of birth data.
LID product
For credit unions interested in identifying and understanding their high school aged members and college students, including date of birth will allow CUC to perform an analysis and present the results directly on the dashboard.
Note: bear in mind that college student analysis also requires either a custom flag addition to the upload, or National Clearing House Enrichment that credit union can complete via the LID dashboard. Contact your Account Manager for additional details on how to complete this!
Demographic product
If a credit union wants to gather age-related information about their members, uploading the date of birth will enable CUCollaborate to perform the necessary analysis and display the results on the dashboard.
